Gladys Knight - "You Are The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me"

You probably think I've lost my mind by posting a well known song by Gladys Knight and the Pips on the predominately Christian blog.

However, take the time to listen to the words of their classic hit.

I saw Gladys Knight sing this song on a Christian TV show many years ago and explained the real meaning of the song.

She sang it before the Cross as if she was singing it to Jesus. Listen to the words and think of her doing just that. You'll then understand the true meaning of the song and will never be able to hear the song again without thinking of the true meaning. When heard in the situation described above, it is very moving.
